What mfr dates and O/S firmware are you receiving currently in the MX3000?

I'm curious as to what manufacture dates and what O/S firmware version you are receiving on the MX3000s? I recently received one that seemed a bit old...mfr date of 10/30/05 and the O/S (don't have version number with me) was dated 10/28/05.

Mfr date on my last one is Sept 15 2006 with the OS @ 4.20.003.0092N2 Firmware @ 2.23.5.60627

Yes. It's done through the software. A "Live Update" updates the software and a download to the remote updates it.

How about the O/S for the MX3000; is that ever updated via a software download?

Does anyone know what the changes have been in the O/S?

O/S doesn't ever get updated. The only change I have seen is the addition of the contrast control on the later ones.
