hi guys,
running windows 7 using parallels 9 on my macbook pro 2014 and I'm unable to get the mx900 to connect or even show up on external devices, but the mx 900i connects no problem.
Any ideas?
thx

I don't have experience with Mac, but since you were talking about two different remotes, this is what I have seen once or twice. If one of the remotes has very old firmware, you may have to open up it's program in the standalone editor, then save it in the standalone editor. Then it can be imported into CCP successfully.. Hope that helps.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |

Try using an external powered USB hub.
Shut down parallels Plug in USB hub Plug remote into hub
Fire up parallels
It works for Fusion when I run into older remotes. Seems almost any mx900 two/three years and old will not connect directly. Some will not connect at all.
