I sent this question to URC and haven't heard back in a couple of days. Has anyone hit a similar situation and how did you fix it?

When I select “Send to Remote” in CCP (Commercial) and then download to an MX-5000, the download begins normally. Around 91% total progress, there is an increased amount of data that goes across based on the time it takes to complete. At 93% total progress, the download stops with 100% complete current progress. After a few seconds a pop-up box with “Download Error” appears. The remote then reboots and the remote still has the old software installed.

When I couldn't get the commercial version to work, I stopped updating the regular CCP and I can use it to download successfully but without the latest CCP updates. As an experiment I updated regular CCP and it started having the same download problem after the update. So I believe this has something to do with the last 6-months or so of updates.

I’ve tried different USB drivers. I’m currently using under “Mobile Devices” the Microsoft USB Sync driver, but have also tried URC USB Sync MX1, URC USB Sync MX2, URC USB Sync MX3 and URC USB Sync MX4 with the exact same results. The computer is a Window 7 32-bit computer.

The MX-6000 download is very similar except that the download stops with 85% total progress complete with 100% current progress.

This is for a .CCP file that has been running for 6+ years now. It's been updated during those years but I don't see anything that would cause this behavior.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm hoping someone has run into this before.

if you have any 2 way modules, such as weather, news, stocks, etc...  you will need to delete them out of the file.  they are no longer supported and will lock up the download to the remote.
