Just encountered a first client need to program the MX-1200 and seemed to hit a wall I didn't expect in that the Hard Key definitions seem to be fixed. That is, on all other "MX" remotes I have programmed the hard keys are definable for each Device page.

With the 1200 the hard key definitions seem to be sticky. Whatever is set seems to define the key definition for all Devices pages. I have tried moving the Devices definitions to either the "Lights" or the "Favorites" button, but either category still has each hard button definition fixed no matter what other Page (Device) the focus is on.

How does one define, for instance, the (hard) "Menu" button to be correct (and thus different) for TV, DVD, Soundbar, TiVo devices?

??? [:-)}

Woops. My stupid! [:-)}

I didn't catch that the New Pages I was inserting were associated with the "Device" and not the "Devices" category, so I was attempting to define new devices as part of an existing device.

That never works.

Once I caught the problem, all is well.
