I have an MX-780 that i have programed for myself. The issue i have is some buttons seem to act like i hit them twice. Happens on imported and forced learn programs. It makes selecting a specific function difficult since it will select then unselect. It also will jump 2-3 channels at a time, or when scrolling through xbox menu it will jump 2-3 selections at once.

I hope i am explaining myself ok.

Hopefully someone understands and can point me in the correct direction. I have tried deleting the programming and then reinstalling.

Another method if all else fails is to re-learn the IR codes off the original remote. Make sure your base unit is not getting any interference and test thoroughly.

I have found the MX-780 to be tricky to control the repeats, even a light tap can be considered a press and hold.

Try this to more discretely control the repeats:

If you click on a button in ccp, it's command appears in the macro box. Double click on the command in the macro box, uncheck repeat while pressed you can then turn down the repeats.
