Has anyone had any experience repairing mx450 type button contacts?
The power button on one of my mx450s has gone bad. I opened up the remote and the contacts seem to be little self contained pads that the buttons press onto to activate. If I put a little alcohol onto the pad, the button will operate as expected until the alcohol evaporates. This gives me some hope that it might be fixable.
Before I peel up the white membrane and try to throw some conductive goop under it, I wanted to check in here first.

Nothing that will last, not worth the trouble of repairing key pad. Look for a mx-450 with white lcd on ebay, like this one: [Link: ebay.com]Make an offer.
