I'm not sure these exist (they are not in the URC data base for the 5070 PDP and I do not see them in Pioneer's ccf of remote codes for the 5070) but I'm hoping that someone out there might have these. Looking for the discrete codes for the picture formats - Wide, Full, Zoom, 4:3, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Discrete IR codes for screen size do not exist!
If they will work for you, RS-232 commands are available for screen size.
Maybe use the MSC400 if it fits the pricing.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid the answer would be. Shame on Pioneer for not including such simple discretes.

It's not just Pioneer, I have yet to see any discretes for aspect ratio in IR format; serial yes. You'll have to put an aspect or screen format toggle button on the source pages that you wish to alter this on.

Runco has discrete aspects on both IR and RS232. So far the only one that I know of with IR. Just FYI.

True indeed, i wasn't thinking about projectors. Does this apply to the runco pdp's or just the projectors?

Panasonic also has screen size IR discretes for LCD models, not sure about plasma. Also, Sony is no stranger to discrete screen sizes either.

This is up there on the list of wanted discretes with Cable box power.

Aspect Ratio discretes would be fantastic for systems where video switching is used (almost all of my systems) on one TV input with a custom remote. Priceless!
