I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find a thread on the subject.

I can't find any codes in Complete Control.

Is it even possible to control a Mac Mini via IR?

thanks,
~Jay

You can probably control Front Row or whatever they call their media software. There is a Mac Mini codeset under Aux/Apple. Codeset 412

Thanks, that's really helpful. I looked at the AUX category at least 3 times and overlooked Apple.

Do you happen to know where the IR sensor is placed on a Mac Mini?

I just googled it... the IR sensor appears to be on the edge of the DVD slot.

That'll be fun! .. trying to make a flasher work, while still keeping the optical drive accessible.

If you're brave and don't care about warranty if your is still under warranty that is, you can always take the case off and embed the emitter inside.

It's an old core2duo. Maybe I'll give that a try.
