I programmed an MX-3000 / MSC-400 to control a home theatre that includes a Runco DTV-933 (and other components, lights, etc.) The Runco is controlled via RF.

When I execute a screen aspect command from within the MSC-400 macro, it does not function. The macro controls all the other components as I expect. I have a separate page on the MX-3000 for the Runco, and when I execute the same aspect command (not in a macro) it works.

I've checked all the obvious things - Is my IF..Else logic coded correctly in the MCS-400 macro / Are the action variables set correctly / Etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The only other thing I can think of to try is to change the order of commands and timing of delays.

Thanks in advance.

It's most likely an issue with the setting of delays. You should try inserting a delay before the aspect ration commands in your macro; if you already have a delay try making it larger.

Jeff is probably right, the runco may not be able to accept an aspect change quickly after an input switch or powering on. It may also not be able to change aspect until a source is sensed on the video input.

I was having the same problem yesterday and finally gave up after posting various amounts of delay everywhere I could.

The problem was with a command inside a conditional. I could get it to work with my Integra receiver (connected serially port 7) but was never successful with Integra DVD (connected serially port 8), LG 50PC.. (connected serially port 9) or VIP622 (connected IR port 1).

If I moved the same commands outside the conditional, they would work every time.
