I want to make ups some custom length Vid6 video sensor cables for the MSC-400. Can anyone tell me what the pin out configuration is for these? On another thread I did see someone provided the below info however it either does not seem to work or I'm doing something wrong. I am connecting ring 2 to the RCA center pin and ring 4 to the RCA outer. Somehow I think the tip plays a role here somewhere. Thanks!!
Tip: Voltage Trigger Output
Ring 2: 5VDC Power Input
Ring 3: NC (Not connected)
Ring 4: Ground

Take existing URC Vid sensor cable, cut wire in middle, insert your favorite 3cond shielded cable in between, match colors at both ends, splice, done.

yes that would work except I don't have any.
You mentioned 3 conductor. Where does the third conductor go?
