Since there is no forum for Total Control I'm trying it here. Has anyone successfully commpunicated with a Sony VPL-HW50ES using RS-232? I have it defined in Accelerator, port 1, 9600 baud, 8 data, no parity, 1 stop bit. The auto gen macro created a power on, pause, and then another power on. I thought this was strange, but even with 1 power on it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Communication protocol for the VPLHW50ES says 38.4 kbps, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.

That projector needs 2 power on commands to wake from low state and turn on.

Looking in the URC drivers I don't think those are the right commands.

Power on should be 0xA9 0x2E 0x00 0x00 0xAF 0x9A
Power off should be 0xA9 0x2F 0x00 0x00 0xAF 0x9A

Try that.
