I just ordered one from: [Link: fishpond.com]
It will take a week or so, $9.00
I'll post back if it works.

Just received the cable from: [Link: fishpond.com]
They say it is N.L.A., but they sent me one, 1.5m long, black.
It was hard to push in to the remote socket the 1st time, but it did fit perfectly, and it DOES work perfectly. It is a USB A to USB 4pA style connector, so some of the adapter kits may also work well for you if they have this style connector in them.
I prefer a cable rather than an adapter.
There are links on this site on how to get the MX 3000 editor software to work under Win 7, 8, 10, etc, and after reading them, it took about 20 minutes to get it all working.
Considering that you can purchase a good working used MX3000 for $50.00, and they were $1000.00 new, many of your customers may want to keep using one when their old one quits.  They were happy with it when they bought it, and may not wish to learn a new UI. They may simply want to change from Sat to Cable, etc.
This is a must have item for your toolbox, and is extremely hard to track down.
Thanks to those who tried to help me. I think this cable is a better and MUCH cheaper solution. I try to be helpful to the thousands of clients and pro's who use and depend on this site. Let's please keep it that way.
