Hello. I have a new home with a home theatre, and it came with MX-350 URC remotes. I have added a new A/V receiver, and entered the world of MX-350 remote macro programming. I am a seasoned user of Logitech remotes, but I must admit the entire macro programming of the MX-350 seems totally counterintuitive to me.

I have been through the manual multiple times, and I am not getting the following steps:

1. How to specifically tell the MX-350 to set a given HDMI port on my new A/V receiver? How do I do that? Hopefully this is not a "round-robin" situation, because I have 6 discrete HDMI ports with currently 3 HDMI devices attached. With the Logitech remotes they never assumed which HDMI port was last used (e.g. they didn't assume "start with HDMI port 1"). Further, I am clueless on how to set these commands in the macro.

Can someone help me with a discrete example (down to using the specific buttons)? I would really appreciate it.

2. The MX-350 was set up with a URC RF250 device, and I have completely managed to break all RF capabilities (I initialized the MX-350 and lost the ID #, etc.). No RF signals are "firing" here.

Once again the manual is not giving me examples, and I am continually not "getting it". Is there a primer on the MX-350 including how to work with both the URC RF250 (and RF260 as well)? The RF250 unit has all of the RF "sensors" attached to a 6-station "device box" which is somehow connected to the RF250 unit.

Any help to this newbie would be so appreciated! I am not against reading primers but I am not finding much.

Thanks!

Being this is a user based remote I don't know how many people here have ever sold one. I just quickly downloaded and glanced through the manual and the macro programming looks pretty straight forward to me along with getting the RF to work. I think you have to take your time and read through it.

Logitech remotes attempt to do everything for you. There is no programming so if what they've done doesn't work in your situation, too bad.
