My Samsung Smart TV automatically turns on the DirecTV box as most of the time we do not watch it with the AV system (Integra 80.3). I actually like this feature and it does this through a "IR Puck" that plugs into the TV that I set next to the Sat Box.

When I turn on my DHC - 80.3 and then turn the TV on it turns the DirecTV Box on and the 80.3 auto detects it and switches to CD/TV. When my macro runs on my remote to select something like my Media streamer, it selects it, but after a few seconds the 80.3 always switches to CD/TV.

My theory is it has auto detected it and is trying to select it regardless of me manually selected another source.

Anyone have any advice besides setting a time delay for around 20 seconds at the very end of the macro to wait for it to select CD/TV and then 20 seconds later switching it back to whatever source I actually wanted. Seems like there is a "neater" way to do this

It's your HDMI control. Turn off all CEC and any other HDMI control in all your devices. They were created by the devil to F with you.
