In reviewing URC's IR database in the MX3000 Editor software, I do not see a database of IR codes's for Pioneer's 5070HD plasma screen? Do any of the other Pioneer IR databases listed in the editor work for this plasma screen?

Thanks

TV 385 - it's the code for the PDP-5060HD. I believe they are the same codes.

Thank you,

Hey Chris,
How did you make out with the ir database for the PDP5070 Pioneer plasma....
I would be interested because I have been using URC Home Theater Master remotes for a few years and I recently have been installing Pioneer plasma displays and have been having a problem with ON/OFF macros since I cannot find discreet codes for the ON and OFF commands or the INPUT menu.

Thanks

What model tv are you using that you can't find discretes for? I use the same combo of products and never have a problem. And yes the 5060 codes work with the 5070.

Looks like the PDP-5070HD and several other Pioneer and Elite plasma and A/V receivers were added to the IR Database recently. I just did a Live Update and there they were! Still missing some of the new receiver commands.
Give it a try.

I do not see the 5070HD listed in the IR data base for the MX3000 editor. I did a live update and it tells me everything is up to date ???????

Have you tried the 5060 codes?

I'm proposing a job with three PDP4270hd's, two PDP6070hd's
and one PDP5070hd......I've been doing moderate programming of Home Theater Master IR and RF remotes and want to stay with a product that we know. But I can't determine if I can get discrete codes for ON, OFF and the various INPUTS(hdmi, component1, etc.) of the Pioneer PDP 70 series plasmas into
URC Home Theater Masters or the mx-900 of tx-1000.

Thanks

Although I think the 5060 codes would have worked fine, I see the IR data base for the Pioneer 5070 and 5071 showed today after a Live Update. Not sure what else the new Live Update provided.
