I see news about URC Modules. I primarily work on Complete Control and have no idea on Total Control or CCGen2 products.

"URC Announces Slew of New Two-Way Control Modules for Popular Products Including Nest, Lutron and Aprilaire"

- Does a module mean hardware or software or can be either of two.
- I see sonos "Extra vegetables" and i believe it is a software license

Just doing some analysis on Nest thermostats and URC and was wondering on this.

Modules are drivers written to communicate with (typically) third party devices, such as Nest. The Sonos EV module is no more, ever since C4 bought EV and immediately gave URC the finger, I mean discontinued their drivers for URC.

Driver modules allow for IP control of devices, in many cases with 2 way communication. The Nest driver would be an example of this, as you not only can turn your temp up or down, but you will see the actual temp setting on your interface.

Anyone has the Driver module for Nest Total Control. Please PM me. I am doing a prototype in accelerator for Nest and see that the NEST is not listed in the database and uploaded only to control room.

Appreciate if someone can send me the Nest and Sonos Extra Vegetables modules to me.

There is no more Sonos module since EV was purchased by Control4

Are you a dealer? You should join the control room. Working with TC you will find it a great resource

If I may ask, where did you get Accelerator if you are not a dealer?

So how are you doing a prototype in Accelerator if you do not have Accelerator?

ha ha. I replied saying that I am doing a remote desktop as a trainee. but realized no one cares and edited it.

not sure why people are interested in knowing about accelerator rather than giving ideas on programming questions.

but realized that this is ccp forum and no one cares about total control over here.

Give me a certified total control dealer near 84105. Or try calling any dealer near this area and ask about z-wave of total control. give them a scenario of dms-1200 plus dms-100 whole house streaming and ask to implement it. or ask them to do a total control camera with recording capability or motion control alerts in total control.
I believe you are pissed off because i am not giving you money to do my home automation. don't expect me to pay you to fly down here and implement small project.

or give me a dealer who can remote support me and i can pay him and let him do offsite control for my house.
