Has anyone implemented z-wave in Total Control? Is it easy program in URC Accelerator?

Can i buy after market zwave lights, doorknobs etc. and use with URC?

IR Codes can be learnt or shared via HEX codes. But how does a 3rd party light bulb with its own z-wave remote be programmed via URC Total control and controlled via TRC-1080?

I decided to answer my own basics questions on z-wave on total control. If you are planning to have one installed and have these questions this might help.

-If you have a TRF-ZW1 integrated with your total control system, you can control any device you want which is z-wave compatible

- there are other adapters which do same thing as TRF-zw1, but they dont talk to URC software. the zw1 talks to urc software and can integrate with your existing urc automation you already have

- you can expand your z-wave products (buy anything which is z-wave and it will work. even cheap ebay z-wave led light bulbs)

- programming is done by your dealer if integrating with total control.

- for other third party z-wave adapters they might provide compatibility with ios apps to control the z-wave devices. easy to program also if you have an app.
