I'm having a huge problem with a new Vizio LCD set (yes it's a LCD, not a LED which there is no such thing). Out of 12-19 other devices that are, or were programmed to use this 260 repeater, this TV is the only one that doesn't respond to commands. 1. I did the RF interference test, though I knew there was none. 2. I checked the response from the remote to the 260 and I see the receive LED blink with every button push. 3. The MX900 controls the set fine. 4. I have re-positioned the 260, aiming it downward a few degrees, but no change. 5. I have changed RF codes (channels), but no change. I believe I have read that these sets have a possible narrower window for IR commands. The set is a Vizio M602i-B3. The remote is a MX-900.

You are using the blaster and not an emitter?

Do the codes work out of the MX900 via IR?

If you want to run this effing forum so badly, why don't you get your sorry ass off the computer and go out to the jobsite and help the guy.
Maybe you and Duct Tape can do it together.

Extra poor wording and diction by the OP made that sentence confusing. Did he mean the OEM or the MX900. He did not specify.
STOP BEING A TROLL. You mean for pointing out he mentioned that he tried using the remote that he states he has? I cannot help it if you read into it differently.

I don't know how that post could of been made any clearer. To address the whining, I did change the word "remote" to MX900" even though that was already in the title of the thread.

Don't pay him any mind. So are you using the blaster or do you have an emitter on the tv?

Now that a couple of useless posts from a troll trying to increase his post count were cleaned up, to answer your question, yes I'm using the blaster.
Long story short; due to the very narrow angle for the IT+R receiver in the TV, the problem is/was the 260 was too high, Even aiming it downwards didn't help. Moving it to a lower shelve of a table on one side of the sectional solved the problem. But, if I move it up a foot to the table top, the problem returns.
Never had anything with that narrow of a receiver pattern before.

BTW, the reason emitters were not used was; 1. It worked fine without, 2. The 260 was out of the way above a rear channel corner speaker enclosure with the equipment in the opposite corner,

Well, as you know we definitely recommend using the emitters. It is always a more reliable solution. If you can get a wire there, you should be able to keep the 260 where you had it placed. If you can't, at least you determined the eye just has a narrow window and you have to keep the 260 lower.
I haven't dealt with a TV with a narrow window like that, but I don't use the blaster so it's possible I just never noticed. I did have a client that purchased his own IR Kit on Amazon a while back that we used and you had to stay pretty much dead center on the TV for it to work.
