Do I have any options for adding some IP controls to my Complete Control (i.e. MSC-400) system?

I'm currently using:
3x MX-880
1x MX-980
1x MSC-400

I now have a few devices on my network that I'd like to control using TCP/IP but I really can't afford to upgrade all of my remotes to Total Control, etc, and I'd still like to use my MSC-400 for some RS-232 and IR devices.

Could I simply add an MRX-1 or MRX-2? Do they support custom IP commands?

Yes, the MRX-1/2 support IP to an extent, however only with MX5K, MX6K, KP4K, and iOS/Android interfaces.

If you do add the MRX-1 (or 2), though, you should really get rid of your MSC-400, as your MRX will be doing the work now, unless you are using more 232.ir.sensor ports on the MSC than the MRX supports.
