Hi,

For some reason, I'm unable to get the mx 5000 to learn basic scrolling options.
Up, down, enter ,left and right navigating keys do not work when internet radio is selected. I even tried to learn the commands but it won't transmit signal. Buttons have been "punched through" to the receivers remote. The mx5000 does change inputs, it does turn off my receiver but the directional keys do no work when "internet radio" is selected.
Has anyone experienced this problem using CCP?
The receiver is a pioneer sc77

Have you tried punching through the directional keys from the pioneer device to the pioneer device? To turn off punch through the supersedes the learning commands?

Pioneer have given URC remotes trouble before, try teaching to a third remote, and then back to the mx-5000.

Im not sure what you mean when you wrote " Have you tried punching through the directional keys from the pioneer device to the pioneer device?" . I attempted to have each directional keys taught the commands. CCP says the signal was capture but yet wont function as it should. It wont scroll down, left or otherwise but everything else works. If anyone has been able to use directional keys of a pioneer sc when the net functions are used, please let me know. CCP cant seem to figure it out.

As you have suggested, I used my old harmony one remote to learn the commands and subsequently, have my mx5000 do the same. It still doesnt work. Im puzzled...thanks for your feedback

I live in Montreal, Canada ...I havent seen any dealers here. I'm quite confortable with CCP, I simply thought the remote would easily learn commands without using hex codes. Hopefully, the codes provided by Sysintegration will work. Hex codes for the the net function for Pioneer sc77 are hard to find

Did you try learning twice in the event it uses an alternating code?

On a 2014 Pioneer Elite? I've not seen that floating around the databases.

Page 68 of the manual makes it pretty clear.

"Press net to switch operation of remote control." He could be in the wrong category mode when trying to learn. Again, this is solved by having the hex and copying it over.

I was a little confused as I could have sworn he said he tried learning by first pressing the net button. Then I realized he did. He has two threads on this.

This sounds strongly like user error. The net directional hex were easily available, I didn't even learn them. Drag drop and call it complete.

Here's to clarify...In order to operate "net" functions on the OEM remote, I have to press that button which allows me to operate directional keys when listening to "internet radio" or "Pandora". I tried learning the IR codes "remote-to-remote" but that failed. CCP confirms the signal was captured but does not execute upon command( I made sure I pressed "net" prior to initiate transfer signal) . I did attempt to add a 3rd remote in the fold, to see if it could learn from it. Didn't work! Then I found an excel sheet on the net for all pioneer receivers marketed in 2013. I found the hex codes for the Pioneer SC77 and found the commands for "play, cursor up , cursor down etc." on their website.
Copy pasted the infos into the universal browser and dragged it on to the selected button. Same results, nothing. But yet, I can access the home menu from the MX5000 and use the directional keys as I wish within that menu.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, your feedbacks are greatly appreciated. CCP has been updated

Just to clarify, you go into a separate device/activity on your remote labeled Internet Radio, and some codes do work, just not the directional keys?
