We get a few calls from people looking to update programming on their remotes. They have been programmed by others. Do any of you guys program remotely? How do you do it? Team Viewer and load the software to the customer's computer? We just don't have a lot of time to drive to site and do this as some of these enquiries are an hour away.

I haven't done any Off-Site programming with CCP. If I envision this being a necessity, I would sell Total Control (CCGen2 would work for non-direct dealers, although I think even non-direct dealers have access to TC in Canada). This has off-site programming built in as an option. Could be a easy way to upsell since you can explain that you would have to charge door to door to program any changes. Rather than pay for travel, pay up front for the upgraded system and you can reprogram without rolling a truck.

Right now, Total Control is the only option in Canada, via select distribution.
