I have some codes that are programmed into an MX-900 in one .ccp file, and I'd like to be able to drag and drop them into an MX-980 in a different .ccp file. I assumed I could use the universal browser to accomplish this, but unfortunately it will not directly open .ccp files. Is there a way to export the MX-900 configuration so that I can pull it up in the universal browser?

Use the transporter function. It will allow you to do exactly what you are looking to do

I am not familiar with this.

I did find the other day if I were in say the 980 editor, and I right clicked the watch tab in the column view on the right, I was given the option to import from another CCP file.

While in CCP programming your new remote, open up Transporter. Click the drop down where it says Main in my example. Select the device or activity page the code you need is placed on in the old file:

Drag the code over:

Release code. Thats it:

Note that you CANNOT transfer macros, this is for device codes only

Thank you so much! That was indeed exactly what I've been looking for. All these years I've been using CCP, I never even knew that function existed. It took me a while to even find it just now, because the option was unchecked under the
"view" tab.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that is where you can find it.
