Need some guidance. I programmed a new TV into my MRX-10 system and then updated the TRC-780 remote. Now, when I choose a viewing option (DVR, Apple TV, etc) everything works fine until the remote goes to sleep. When you wake it back up to change the channel, etc it is back on the main screen and you must reselect the viewing device. How do I return the remotes to stay on the proper viewing device even after it goes to sleep?

Did you use accelerator to build the macro?
Did you delete the device power commands in the macro?

Assuming you are a dealer. Are you on the URC forums? You will find them very helpful. As mentioned, you are missing the Device Power On commands in your macro. These are used to track the state of the equipment. Failure to have them in your macro will result in your interfaces jumping back to the main menu.

The 'ole page flip. Yuck.

This reply reminds me of my training:

1. Driver creation/editing is probably the most important step
2. Don't blindly use our drivers, even if they are bold.
3. Check your network.

:-)

I'm sure this is common knowledge to the regulars, but I have found it really helpful to build an empty device in the aux category for all non-controlled devices (game systems, computers, etc) as a helpful reminder to call that device's (empty) device power macro so that the MRX-10 can properly track the device power sub-routines and not page flip.

You guys nailed it. Thanks, I didn't even remember to look at the macros. I hunted through the entire accelerator file trying to nail this one... Easy fix, thanks for the reminder!
