That's it. The command doesn't work. The HR21 commands seem to work.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

The only DirecTV code set worth using is 173. Or if you need ID 2: 193

The rest of them should be deleted from the database.

Yeah, but when are they going to come up with the other 6 IR addresses, and get rid of the TiVo addresses under Directv?

Why would they do that when they could sell you an rf base?

Alright don't add the missing six, but do get rid of the TiVo codes. Gives the impression that they have the missing addresses, makes many try each one for nothing, wastes time. Leave the TiVo commands under TiVo, Philips, or Hughes.

edmund,
if you have these codesets, could you send them to me in Pronto hex? I'm in contact with someone at URC right now; It would be nice to challenge him by sending him these codesets and seeing what happens with them. It'd be interesting to see how long it takes for them to get into the database.

I offered to URC to learn the six codesets myself, specifically as a response to your post, and I'm interested to see what their actual response would be if they have them. If you've already learned them, you'd save me the hour or so of making a ccf and learning the six codesets

When I last used CCP, I was not able to get learning to work, so I've told them I'd have to do a ccf file, a detail which they've missed in two emails so far.

Ernie, I don't have any way of generating pronto hex, all I ever did was import it through the universal browser. And never needed more than 5 addresses at a time. So I never used address 00004, 00007 or 00008.

Thanks for trying.

For cleaner learns when teaching off of Directv remote, turn off the extra signal added by the directv remote:

1. dtv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT, wait for two blinks, release
3. enter 9 6 3
4. press CH Down
