I have had the MX-1200 for a year now, I programmed it myself (I am not an installer). It is amazing how much stuff one can control with these remotes.

Recently, however I decided to add a URC/Lutron MRFA-3LD-URC lamp dimmer to my setup. After tinkering for a while I realized that the MX-1200 cannot be programmed to control the dimmer via the internal IR database in CCP.

I read somewhere that this remote must use the Universal Browser or the Learning method to operate URC lighting. Can somebody confirm this? What are my options? How can I get the learned codes?

Thanks for your help.

you can control that dimmre with the mx1200.  the codes are right in the database.

click on Help, then open the Installation Manuals folder, then open the URC Lighting PDF.  it will explain how to program URC lighting.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have gone through the help files and followed the procedures without success. However I just found a work-around, by adding a dummy MRF350 base station in CCP and setting the lights from IR to RF. It now works.

Thanks again for your help.
