Bad MX980s...anyone else?

We've now had 5 bad MX980s in the last month. These are all DOA out of the box. We've had 4 with black screens (but the back-lighting works) and one with a bad charger. Previous to this, we had 1 bad one in the last year so I know something is going on. URC doesn't know what's happening. Has anyone else had the same problems?

The ribbon cable attaching the screen to the board is paper thin now, I've seen rips in the screens of mx-780's and mx-450's too. And with then glued to the board, theres no give and take like before.

Are you saying it has been changed in mid-production??
