My Mcintosh volume control is way too touchy. Both the factory remote and learned volume commands change volume too rapidly; difficult to change in 1 step increments except by barely and lightly tapping the button.

Is there a way to change a command from continuous to momentary?

thx

I tried the repeat feature but no difference. Do you have to do a macro for the volume?

vol+ command - set repeat to 1, (misc. non-used/dummy command), stop macro

- just know that volume ramping probably won't work going this route

Thanks, Bryan!

Got it and now. Had to learn from the original remote and then do the 1 repeat. No ramping but that's OK. Just rapid push now :)

Maybe next time ask for an actual solution. Figured you actually knew what you were doing, my bad for assuming.

OK, sorry. Lot of jerks in the world anymore:)

I'll be more clear next time. Got it all figured out with before and after commands, too.

thx
