I just got a new MX 1200 and connected to MRF-350. I did some programming. I updated my program to MX-1200.
The Power on and Off, Volume..etc..
I changed receiver to RF in Programming, it’s not working at all. But it works when I changed to IR. The RF is not working at all.
I have to point my remote to bluray, it’s working. The RF is not working when I moved from Bluray or Deneon.
I tested with channel 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0 on both MRF-350 and Remote. I tried, but none of commands are working in RF mode.

When I press any button in the remote, the light is blinking in the MRF-350 and RF-250.
I tied Blu-ray player, Denon Receiver, JVC Projector, none of them are working.
Please give me some advice.

Thanks,
Jags

Did you add emitters to the equipment? If yes, are the emitters placed correctly? Do not use blaster mode, use the emitters if you are not.

Are you properly aliasing the commands in the program? Is only the power light constantly on on the MRF350? The second light is only blinking when you press a button?

I have connected emitters to the equipment. I have also assigned correct ports in the program. I placed emitters near Bluray/Denon.
I am not using blaster mode. I am using only RF mode.
Yes. first I am trying with only POWER ON and Power Off. Yes. The power in on constantly in MRF-350. The second light is blinking when I press any button.
I am using Channel 8 now. I tried with other channels also.

Where should I place emitters? Front of Bluray/Denon systems.

Thanks...

1. the emitters have to be placed directly over the IR eye of the piece of equipment. You can't just play the emitter anywhere. Take a flashlight and shine it on the front of the equipment and you should be able to determine where the eye is.

2. A while back, there was a run of bad emitters that were not opaque on the rear and therefore, the signal did not pass through. See if you can see the light on the emitter flash from the rear of the emitter to ensure you have good emitters.

Once you have the emitters placed properly, it would be best to set it to RF. IR and RF will send signal both to the base and out of the remote via IR. This can flood the equipment if it is in line of site and cause problems.

That is a Lutron lighting device and not a URC mad by Lutron lighting device. It will not directly communicate with a URC remote.

Well that was anti-climactic. Did you conclude that the $50 Lutron dimmer would not work and you need to buy the URC version of the dimmer for $100?
