Hi,

I came across an MRF-300 but it doesn't have a RXF-150. Will the 300 work at close range without an RXF-150, or does it definitely need one to pickup a signal?

Thanks

It has no internal antenna. It needs the external to operate.

I tried mine and got nothing with out the RXF-150 attached. Might be worth getting a jack lead with the right plug on and experimenting with that as a substitue ?

Okay thanks goldenzrule and kdp99. I'll try the substitute antenna idea before looking for a RXF-150.

Just throw the new rfx250 antenna on it and call it a day. It will work fine and be more reliable than the old antenna
