I have the vsx80 Pioneer Elite Receiver and the MX-850 remote.When I download codes or the learned command of the remote it still has problems. When I hold down the volume button on the MX-850 the volume only goes up one notch every time I press the volume key.On the original remote if you hold it down or up it just raises or lowers the volume as long as I hold down the volume button
Hoping you guys can help

try learning the code. When you do hold the button down.

Use the VSX-72 or 74 volume control from the database.
No problems with my MX-850.
