Hello,

I am trying to add a transparent colored time button to my MX-6000. It seems you have to change the background for every screen which is troublesome. I essentially wanted to add a persistent time button just like my MX-5000 remotes. The family likes having the clock on every page of the remote.

What am I missing on the MX-6000 to do this?

Thanks,
TWells

highlight the button and select properties? Switch it to time.

In ccp, right click the screen in simulator and add a new button. Adjust the size of the button in the properties window (and make a Icon, transparent or a color that matches). While in the Properties tab you can select "Time" or "Date" for the text with a few different formats for each. Place it where you want it (preferably the same place on every page) and you are done.

If you need to create your own transparent Icon you cannot use windows paint, but you can go to "Get Paint dot net" and download a free program to do so or use photoshop if you have it.

Thanks to all for the help. I'm on it this weekend.

The iOS app.

I agree, the iOS app would be nice as I have a fair amount of iPads around the house. However, I don't think the iOS app, CCP, and my RF receivers (two MSC-400s and one MRF-350) work well together.

Best,
