There is a new hdmi 6X2 matrix switch on the market.
Here is one version of it

[Link: hdtvsupply.com]

Amazon also has a couple.. you can search for 6x2 matrix hdmi

This switch is being sold by others, under different names. It is available on Amazon also.

Anyway, one of the biggest pains of this switch is - its IR code is URC unfriendly.
It took me 1+hours to accurately program the 16 IR codes from its remote (first, you have to go buy a new battery - the battery supplied, even if new, is junk)

So.. if any of you want a CCP file, let me know. I can send it to you. I could not find a place to upload it here. It is not perfect. I didn't record three buttons - PIP, Enter and one more.

Yes.. I do agree about junk from China.. but it has become a necessary evil! I too wish that we could buy more of made in USA.. It was an effort to buy screw drivers, made in USA - Finally, I found and bought the sears professional line - made in usa - for a price about 4 to 5 times more than chinese..
You can pay $500 for the DVDO version - which is probably better..
Or you can pay $150 for this and it WORKS!
If DVDO was $200, I would have gladly bought the DVDO (which quite possible is also made in China! lol)

@audvid -

I would really appreciate a copy of your CCP file. I also left you a PM to that effect. Thanks.

It would be great if those could be shown in hex so that they could be available for everyone. Could you post the learn file you have?

Would it be possible to send these codes? I'm currently using this Matrix Switcher and have not been able to control it.

My apologies to jmlred and sysintegration: I did not noticed the posts from 2014.
I guess I was not automatically subscribed to this thread, when I started this thread.
I have benefited immensely from this forum and would be happy to help.
Just recently, I was copy and use the hex codes for the color buttons of the hopper.
Until now, I didn't figure out how to incorporate hex codes into ccp programmiing.
I have been using the ccp programming software for several years but it is still a "learning in process".

I will be happy to send the ccp file.
I uploaded a couple of ccp files.. forgot which ones I did.
I will be sending it today or shortly thereafter to dafinestz.
I don't have the hex codes - because they are learnt codes from the remote supplied by the 6X2 switch.

Hi, im looking at getting this device, its currently on eBay via a number of seller from approx £70.
So this device will only support 5 proper devices the 6th input is just for mobile devices?
Also whats the handshake time like, i have a old 4x2 switcher and the handshake for the time it takes a picture to be display upon switching between inputs is a good 5-8 seconds, is this any better?

pcb assembly in usa

Handshake time is quite fast.. maybe 1 or 2 secs.. not noticeable.
I am not sure about the 6th input.. I thought it also can be used, for non mobile devices also but I am not 100% sure.
I no longer use this switch.
