I have an MX-980 that I have not even connected to a computer for several months because everything has been working great. Now suddenly my Xbox randomly turns on when run the watch Dish macro. Also, the Hopper discrete off code suddenly seems to be a toggle. If I run the macro for any other device more than once I the hopper will toggle on and off. Am I going crazy or did something change?

IR or RF?
Are you RF routing?
Do you by chance have some variation of CEC turned on?

RF with routing. CEC is turned off on every device that supports it. I think I may have fixed the Xbox problem by multiplying the number of times the Xbox off command is sent. The Xbox has always been finicky this way.
The Hopper power off still has me baffled. I think something changed with a recent update to the Hopper that make the power off command into a power toggle. The power on command is still a discrete power on. Does anyone else have a Hopper to test this?
In my research I have found references to the MX-980 having problems with the MRF-350 using RF routing and that the solution is to use a .5 second delay between every command. I just went through my entire profile and changed every delay to .5 seconds to see if it will solve the completely random problem I have always had with devices not always turning off or on.

The hopper discrete off changed to a toggle quite some time ago now (probably four or five updates ago). I've contacted Dish technical support and requested a fix twice. Unfortunately, no fix has been forthcoming.
