I am doing a long distance pre-program on an MSC 400 / MX 980.
I'd like to control the receiver and BD Player via serial.
I know URC's serial database of Elite TV's is solid, But I'm yet to use serial on a Pioneer Elite Receiver or BD Player.
The Receiver is an SC-79 : URC serial code set 001
And The BD Player is bdp-33fd : URC serial code set 006

Anyone out there who can vouch for these code sets??

Also - I assume the baud rate is 9600, 8, None, 1

Thanks in advance!!!

Here you go, have fun!

It looks like the same strings are in CCP already. Send the power on command twice to wake the receiver up.

I use the same BD player (BDP-33FD) in my setup with serial via MSC-400.
CCP codes work fine.

Thanks 4 the reply(s)!
Nice to see Pioneer uses simple codes, and has a great support manual (thanks Lowhz)
All I had to do was add the menu / cursor commands for the Receiver.
