Hello Everyone,

I have a MX950 remote and I can't find the programming software from my original purchase. And now I use a Mac not a PC. Does anyone know where I can get the software to program my remote?, Also is the software able to cross platform?

Thank you

KJ

Your best bet for this stand-alone software is to track down an authorized dealer with access: [Link: universalremote.com]

As for the cross platform, you will need to either load Windows into your Boot Camp side of your MAC, or get an emulator program (Parallels or VM) then add your Windows.

So if I'm clear on what you're saying. If I have a Windows machine avail able I can configured the remote with a free Windows application?, and if I'm correct in my assumption what is the best application that will allow me to program functions, and will this applications allow me to setup macros?

Thank you,
Cheers!

Do not mean to stop you at the track.  Since remote was sold with advisory that you will need authorize personnel to program.  Assuming that programming was provided by your dealer.  Why not give him a call, since it has been serving you well over the last 10yrs or so.
