I have two seemingly identical MX 880 remotes. Have completed (more or less) the macros to control the SAT receiver, Audio receiver /amps, Roku Box, and a Sansung BR DVD.
One remote works as intended the other with the identical program upload works for all except it will not turn on/off the Samsung DVD. I thought perhaps the remote had problems with the RF or the IR output but it works on all the other codes. I can stand in front of the DVD player and assume the IR would work but it does not either. Anyone have any ideas how two handsets can work differently . BTW I also did hard reset on the remote in question.

It might be best to call URC support directly for this situation.

thanks-they said it is most likely a hardware problem. Offered a 30% discount on a new one. This unit will be discarded or keep for parts I think.
