It is currently in Alpha Testing and will release when it is ready for release! Current prospects put it at a launch this year - it is working quite well in my home!

It's pretty much shipping - models have gone out to select dealers (first come first serve) and the rest should ship within a few weeks (yes, a few weeks lol).

I hope you'll all feel like it was worth the wait. From the start we designed the TRC-1080 to put an incredible amount of functionality into an affordable, ergonomic package. I know that sounds like marketing speak, but truly, that was the goal that the product manager and I shared. We tried to take the power of the TKP-7000 and put it into a wand-style remote without relying on a large touch screen, since lots of people prefer hard button remotes. Of course, that also makes the device more affordable. I think you'll be happy with the result.
