I have MX3000 and MSC400 and work flawless.

Recently I bought a MX6000 and I programmed it just like MX3000.

All the Activities, IRs, workflows I did almost the same, but the only equipment that doesn’t works well is a digital cablebox Pace DC550D (Pace 2 (074) or DC550P (043)), this cablebox works great with MX3000 but nothing happen with MX6000.

What I did was:
1.Send IR in MX6000: nothing happened
2.Send IR in MX6000 through MSC400 (via RF): nothing happened
3.Send IR through Smart Macro on MSC400: nothing happened

I tried with Data Repeat: 1, 2, 3 and nothing works with MX6000, totally different with MX3000 with this one works great.

All the rest of my equipment works without issues.

Any ideas?

What else can I do???

Thanks

How did you even try to program that? MSC400 + MX3000 could only be programmed in CCS. There's no way you can add a MX6000 to that setup without importing the file into CCP, converting it's format to CCP and dragging all of your hot key commands to the MX6000.

If you're programming IR into the MX6000 and trying to pass it through the MSC as though it was a MRF260 or 350 you need to make sure you have the output for that device set to RF in the MX6000 program.

I think the main problem you have is two different configuration files with some old and new hardware.

Well, I have my old MX3000 with their own RFX-250 and MRF-350, all program (and IR) are in remote (of course :) ... and programmed with CCS).

So, I take off my MRF-350 and connect new MSC-400, and my MX3000 still works (all equipment even cablebox).

Then, I programmed the new one MX6000 (with CCP), first time with all IR in remote (through RFX and MSC) all equipment works except cablebox (I tried with different data repeats), second time I programmed MSC (with CCP) in order to this one send IR, with same result: doesn't works (just cablebox).

All equipment works great: TV, Receiver, AppleTV, BlueRay but my cablebox doesn’t works.

???

Still trying and nothing works with cablebox... I dont get it...

I (factory) reset to MSC400 and MX6000... with empty MSC and just programmed MX6000... nothing happens... All equipment works but no at all cablebox.

If I tried with MX3000 works great :P

Any ideas???

Maybe try learning a couple of buttons from the original cable remote and see if that works.
why have a nice system if you cant operate it, program the remote the right way the FIRST time!

Hi cb1,

It's kind of weird, I tried that, with the original remote in some buttons learning with MX6000 and learning with MSC400 and nothing happens, and again, if I tried learning with MX3000 works great...

I don't get it.

I'm running out of ideas.

Maybe if I throw it out, I mean mx6000 :( and I discharge all my angry and frustrations LOL
