I have not had call for this before, but now I need a remote with a timer for mainly turning lights on and off, at certain times of the day. Do any of the CCP programmable remotes like the KP 4000 have this function? Thanks.

Yes. The MX890, MX980, MX5000, MX6000, and KP4000 all have event timers. They are a bit hidden. Open up CCP and add your device. Under the model designer, right click on the device (i.e. right click on KP4000). Select Event Timer. You can add your events for lights on or lights off.

I currently use the event timer for my outdoor lights on a MX890. Works great.
