Hi gents: I'm trying to program remote thru CCP and can't find IR codes for the DVDO Duo (8 HMDI inputs) nor the Kuro KRP-600M (Monitor only). Although I can probably find something old enough that'll work for the Pio, do I use something like the iScan VP50 and then learn the other 4 HDMI discrete codes? Thanx.

iScan Duo Discrete IR Codes (CCF). Toward the bottom of the page.

Praz,

Thanks but neither I nor URC tech support could use the CCF file. They said for me to try and get the hex codes. I can't find those anywhere easily. Got any other ideas??

TIA

I learned all mine from the DVDO remote. There were no issues that I recall.

Hi Joe,

Yea I know I can learn them but it's kinda disappointing with URC touting their "Complete Control Program" and not having current devices or use the CCF file from DVDO that it says it can read but can't. I'm hoping DVDO tech support can supply me the hex codes....

i was able to use the universal browser to access the codes in the CCF file.  alternatively you can open the file using pronto edit (available in the remote central download section)  to open the file and extract the actual hex code from each button.   [Link: files.remotecentral.com]

which CCP remote are you programming?

CCP file for the DUO linked below.. The commands will show as learned but are converted from the CCF file.

Edit: Link now removed.

I and URC tech support couldn't get the browser to see the CCF file, so how did you do it?

the proper way i'm guessing  :)

1. Download and unzip the Duo_Discrete_IR_codes_v2_30 file.
2. Open your existing CCP file.
3.  Open the universal browser (Tools - Universal Browser)
4.   click on the file folder on the upper left hand corner of Universal Browser.
5.  Navigate to the Duo_Discrete_IR_codes_v2_30 folder than you unzipped.
6. Open the Duo_Discrete_IR_codes_v2_30.ccf file
7.  Look in the Tree View of the Universal Browser
8.  Expand where it says Duo and you will find all the pages in the CCF configuration.
9.  Click on a page to see what codes are listed on that page under Panel View.
10.  click and drag any of the buttons in the Panel View over to a button on your remote.
11.  Call URC tech support and teach them steps 1-10
12.  Send me a case of beer.
13.  something good, not miller lite or any crap like that.
