OK now in searching for the best price I have purchased a mx-900 w/ mrf-250 included for a great price. But to my bewilderment i have discovered that there is no serial number. Is this legal??? Why would a product have no serial number.

The remote works pretty well with the old mrf-100 that I have except I cannot get the remote to operate the volume of the TV even when trying to learn it from the tv remote. But it does not work at all with the mrf-250 that came with it? Am I not setting the RF controls properly?

How do I use the RF addressing feature??

Where did you get it?

You need to be sure that the MRF-250 is set to an address other than "0" (remove the bottom plate and switch it). You should make sure the address matches in the MX Editor as well (under RF Control).

Thank you,

vgrove. Welcome to RC.com.

here's a cool link for you to try out first..

[Link: remotecentral.com]

after viewing, call the authorized dealer you bought the remote from and make sure you get your ser# so you can have a valid warranty for your remote.

Also, might want to try and "learn" about the professional product you have before starting new threads asking tons of questions that have a myriad of answers. Guys love to help in here, You just gotta be little more cordial and reasonable.

have a nice day!
