I read a post about a switch that will work with a MX-980 that would turn a ceiling fan on and off.
I have a Fan from Modern Fan Company. It has speed control, and a light in it you can dim. There is a receiver unit in the fan and a wall switch that sends its own rf signal to the receiver. It has its own remote.
Is there a URC solution that will work with my fan and MX-980? If so, is it 2 peices (switch and receiver)?
Thanks

You can use the MRFA-S6AM-URC to turn the power via MX980 to the fan on and off, that's it.
If the existing wall switch has additional control via RF and you replace it with a URC switch, you will lose that control from the switch.
Does the fan remote communicate directly to the fan, or thru the current switch.

Then you can power on and off if it will allow. Most likely not a solution.
