after the cleaning lady were at my house today, the remote does not work. No display whatsoever. Replaced batteries with brand new, still does not work. Removed batteries and plugged into USB cord and still does not work. Any ideas? Remote is 1.5 years old. Frustrating - spent a lot of money on this thing. My guess is it was somehow dropped? would that completely render this thing useless?

Sorry to hear about your remote. A drop short of cracking the LCD screen may have dislodged the board connection and should not be an expensive repair. Have your dealer send it in and hopefully has a lender program as we do. At least you can find out what you are dealing with before making a decision.

Cleaning ladies are a common culprit. Best to hide these devices when they come.

Best of luck
