I have a MX-900 that I have programmed and has worked with no problems until recently. It has started freezing and doesn't respond to button presses. I have removed the batteries and replaced, it seems fine for a few seconds then freezes again. I have reset to factory and reprogrammed and it still freezes. I have replaced the batteries thinking it was my Sanyo Eneloop batteries but seems no different. The one thing that is weird is if I remove the batteries and plug the usb into my computer it powers up and doesn't freeze? One thing to note is that when it does freeze the LCD screen remains on. I was wondering if it could be the batteries losing connection in the holder?

Thanks
Steve

Can you explain further what you mean by freezing? I ask because the MX900 has some known button issues that results in nothing happening when you press certain buttons.

I would try loading a default file to it and see how it reacts to it. There could be something in your program that is messing it up. This is a good way to confirm if this is the case or not.

I just tried loading a default file and still the same results. If I connect it to the computer with the batteries in it still remains frozen, as soon as I remove the batteries it unfreezes? This is weird.

Did you try fresh batteries? I know you said you removed and replaced, but not clear if you put new batteries or the same ones in

Yes, tried fresh batteries, even took it apart and cleaned the terminals.
