Overnight client's MX-980 stopped working. Remote works fine when pointed at device, but does not work when relying on RF signal to MRF-350/RFX-250. Any thoughts on problem solving this one?

As an update, I have tested a second remote, which also does not work. This suggests a problem with the MRF-350 or the RFX-250. Any thoughts?

Does the light on the RFX-250 flash when buttons are pressed? Double check programming to make sure everything is set properly and to the right RF ID. Also make sure the 3.5mm plugs for the RFX-250 and emitters are seated all the way in. I had a job once where at first glance it appeared to be in all the way when in fact it wasn't.

See if the flashers are continuously ON. If so...power cycle RF brain. I'm considering going back to IR and RF to stop this from happening (or I could just be a man and sell a BlueBolt).

Thank you for the advice. Where is the RF ID selector in CCP for the MX-980?

Thank you for the advice. Where is the RF ID selector in CCP for the MX-980? Under program tab, click Configure home toward top left. Double click on the MRF350.

I believe if the base is set to the incorrect RF ID, the light on the RFX-250 will flash with button presses, but the light on the MRF itself will not flash. Something else to help determine if it's addressed incorrectly.

Thank you for your help. The IF RD was correct. Turned out to be a bad MRF-250 antenna module! I will contact Universal and see if this is a warranty product.

Many times it's told that the 3.5mm plug isn't fully engaged (not pushed in all the way). Could be the initial RFX250 had the plug pulled, but not seated back correctly, and the new on was plugged correctly.

It looks like its seated but it doesn't "click" in all the way.
