I have the complete control suite (which I see has been replaced by the CCP and I don't have this). I've used this to program quite a few mx-900's and an 850. (Not a pro by any means!) I read something that said you use the same mx-900 software to program an mx-880. I tried, and failed.. the 880 just wouldn't even connect and I couldn't upload or download any configuration file to it. So is this not correct? What do I need to program the 880? This is what I have:

MX-900 editor version 1.10.192.0529
Firmware: 1.61
IR DB 2.11
programming on windows 8 laptop which is working with my mx-900 right now, I just programmed it. have older vista laptop and desktop with windows 7 also, so I have different options.

Any help or push in the right direction would be appreciated!

thanks guys

Thanks,

Does CCP completely replace CCS, or do I still need CCS for my 900?

CCP handles all of the remotes except the MX 3000.

It also does not do the MX-850.
