I'm talking about [email protected] to which I had reported the issue in detail twice and requested firmware update to fix it or RMA.

They finally replied to my email and asked me to call them, which I will try now as I did not have time.

I just got off the phone with Rasheed at URC. He looked at my programming file and could not find anything wrong, got stumped and just suggested I do some workaround. I said that's fine but maybe there is something wrong with the software and other people are having this problem. He said NO, so I said you might give him a call 1 (800) 901-0800 and ask for Tech Support.

When you call be in front of the computer and ready to send your CCP file.

Anyone else having this problem please call as soon as possible while the issue is fresh in their mind.

Ok. Let me try calling them. I have to do some modification to the file to replicate the bug.

Hi AVPhile,

I tried replicating the bug but seems like it is fixed. Any particular thing u are trying which does not work.

May be some programming change you need to do to make it work.

I've tried removing all PT from my layout and just adding one at a time. The Vol and Chan always work. The Nav and Transport never work.

I haven't tried creating a brand new layout.

I've experimented with this a bit. PT seems to work fine for me. That is - the hard buttons work fine from Favs screen. BUT, my screen favorites icons used to point to Favs page hard buttons. Those no longer work. They used to. But do not anymore. Pointing onscreen macros to device page buttons (that have IR assigned) works fine.

I don't know if I would even consider it a bug. Technically these buttons don't have anything associated with them. I guess they've changed PT behavior. The flexibility was convenient but it's not the end of the world.

Hi AVPhile,

There is a bug for sure. i was able to replicate it. Created 2 files and sent them to technical support.

But it is not the end of world for me. Instead of using punch through, i removed punch through and manually have button commands.

Hah! I ran into this last week on a 1200. Transport punch through did not work.

Suggest you also bug URC (Thanks for sending your files in Tinsnow). They seemed to be under some illusion that their software was perfect when I reported it.
