Hi all! I decided to try out the two way module for my AVR on my MX-5000 and it appears to work. Actually I have a Pioneer Elite VSX-53 and don't have that module, but used the VSX-33 module and it works fine with my AVR. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I am not seeing the volume popup when I am outside the two way module.
I don't know if I have an old version of the module or not. The version # is (Zone 1 v.1.3.003). I have set the module to have punch through from the AVR, but it still doesn't provide a popup on anything outside of the module.
Is it possible that the problem is I'm using a module that's not for my actual receiver, even though everything works otherwise? If so, is there a module for the VSX-53? I'd certainly be willing to pay for it if that's the problem.
What needs to be done to get the volume popup when using the volume buttons on other devices?
