I am setting up an MX-900 utilizing CCP. I am setting up everything IR. I start with the Samsung HDTV. Everything works fine. So, I begin setting up the uverse box(cisco isb7005). I select cable, at&t and then utilize 151 codes in the ccp software. I decide not to test b/c I am confident. Everything seems normal, I download, then nothing happens. I point the MX-900 at the uverse box and nothing happens. So, I format the device and start over. I test this time and I cannot find a set of codes that will work with this box. I know there are codes that will work b/c a MX-350 upstairs works. I have searched this and other forums and been pounding my head. I set up a MX-350 successfully several months ago with this same uverse box in a different room. So, I go get the MX-350 and test it on uverse box in a different room and it works fine. I am thinking it is a gremlin in the ccp software or something. What am I missing? This is a very common uverse box with a very common remote, mx-900

Also, the settings in ccp are for IR only.

I was told by the company that sold me the mx-900 (a couple of years ago) that the older mx-900's will not work with u-verse. Is this correct, or is he trying to sell me another remote?

There used to be some issues with the code set, and uverse boxes do use a somewhat oddball frequency. Your original installer probably ran into some issues with this a while back and possibly only used the MX900 at the time. It was a very popular remote and many companies had it as their main or only remote option. I wouldn't say they said it to sell you a new remote, but I can't at they weren't trying to push you either.

Forgot to mention, around here, AT&T used Motorola boxes. It's possible the code sets are different for the two manufacturers boxes. The code set works fine on the Motorola boxes.

I got a harmony remote to work using logitech standard codes for cisco isb7005. Then I learned the codes from the harmony to the mx-900. Very tedious and I can't believe there are not any codes for the isb7005. Any news on this? There must be a codeset from ccp for the isb7005 using the mx-900.

This box(cisco isb7005) is very common. If this simple question cannot be answered here, then maybe I should dump my mx-350 and mx-900 and go with harmony. Hamrnoy has all the codes I need. CCP is missing the uverse box codes and my legrand volume control codes. Almost every other remote brand has these codes. strange.
