OK, I haven't been on this site in a long time, but my Samsung DLP TV is on the way out and we are looking at newer sets now.

I am wondering if my URC MX-700 will still work with these newer sets? Meaning are there files out there to use with new Plasma sets from either Samsung or Panasonic?

Or, am I going to be better off getting a new remote as well since mine is so old now.

It has been great and I still love it and it does what I need, but I don't want to spend hundreds of hours reprogramming it for a new TV.

Thanks,
Phil

Most TVs will be in the database but you may need to learn some commands. The 700,800,850 database does not seem to get the same attention CCP does.

Thanks, I had a $75 gift card from X-mas for BestBuy so I went and bought the Logitech Harmony 650. I set it up tonight with my current setup and it works great, super easy to setup.

And it is similar to my mx-700, and so basically for free it wasn't to bad a deal.

Thanks again,
phil
